Good afternoon fellow grantees! The Performance Management Integration Work Group is launching a new “LIHEAP Tips” feature in the Grantee Forum of the Performance Management Website. Here is a tip that I would like to share:
I have been working with the PMIWG Data Integrity Team to develop tools that help us to ensure that the Performance Measures data that we submit to OCS is reliable. Last June, we presented information on the Data Reliability Main Heating Expenditures Tool and posted that tool on the website.
Right now, we all are preparing to report our 2020 Performance Measures data. I thought – Hey, as I work on my 2020 data, I should check out my 2019 main heating fuel bill data to make sure that there weren’t any problems with it that I should try to fix as I develop this year’s numbers. So, I used the tool to check my 2019 data and found that everything looked pretty good with my main heating bill data. When I finish my 2020 report, I plan to check it against last year’s 2019 report to make sure it is consistent. I would encourage you to do the same!!
Here is where to find the tool:
1. Log in to the Performance Management Website: https://liheappm.acf.hhs.gov/user#login
2. On the blue navigation bar, click “Performance Measures”.
3. Click the bottom bar that says “Data Reliability Assessment Tool – Main Heating Expenditures”.
4. Begin your assessment!
Be well.
